Bogotá, Colombia. The international diploma course on the inter-American system of human rights, held at the Bogotá campus of the Universidad Libre of Colombia, closed on February 15-16, 2018. The course, which was a joint undertaking of the IIHR and the University, trained 30 students, who completed 40 hours of virtual learning and another 40 hours of on-site classes in San José, Costa Rica. The closing ceremony was presided over by the Head of the Bogotá campus, Mario Alejandro López Viveros; the Director of the Office of Inter-Instiitutional Affairs of the University, Mario Alejandro López Viveros, and Jorge Padilla, IIHR Coordinador of Education.
The course, which began in October 2017, was directed to both graduate and undergraduate students who wished to learn more about the use of the inter-American system.
