Buenos Aires, Argentina. The 162nd Session of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights provided the IIHR Regional Office for South America the opportunity to hold A Discussion on Education, Gender and Human Rights, led by its Coordinator, Soledad García Muñoz. The activity was attended by representatives of NGOs, public institutions, international bodies and former participants in IIHR courses.
These discussions are an academic dialogue with a political aspect that approach the topic of human rights from a multi-dimensional, multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural perspective. From their beginning, they have sought to inform by means of a horizontal and dynamic dialogue, becoming a space where individuals interested in human rights and former participants in IIHR activities can meet to understand and analyze dynamic and changing situations of human rights.
During her stay in Buenos Aires, the IIHR Representative met with many key actors of the region, among them the Director of the Office of Human Rights of the Argentine Foreign Ministry, María Gabriela Quinteros.
