IIHR and Argentine Embassy in Costa Rica join in public presentation of book by Norma Morandini

San José, Costa Rica. On March 7, 2017, Norma Morandini’s book De la culpa al perdón : cómo construir una convivencia democrática sobre la intolerancia del pasado (From guilt to pardon: how to build democratic coexistence upon past intolerance) was presented publicly at the IIHR by the author, an Argentine journalist and former member of Congress. The book is narrated in the first person and calls on Argentines to reconciliate and to commit to the construction of a democratic society.

The presentation was followed by a lecture on Human rights and new technologies by Juan G. Corvalán, a prosecutor in the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Public  Prosecutor’s Office of the City of Buenos Aires.


Participating in the event, organized by the Center of Studies and Resources for Education in Human Right (CREEDH/IIDH) and the Embassy of Argentina in Costa Rica, were Ambassador Mario Caucino and José Thompson, IIHR Executive Director.
