Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Several meetings took place on July 20 2016 between representatives of excluded social sectors and the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) of Honduras. These meetings were part of the Program of Electoral Inclusion that was supported by the Center for Electoral Promotion and Assistance under the general agreement of cooperation between the two bodies.

Participants at the meetings identified potential factors of exclusion from the electoral process of the aforementioned groups and the exercise of their political rights to elect and to be elected, which will allow the TSE to formulate proposals to combat them.

Present at the meetings were Magistrates of the TSE, representatives of the Network of Indigenous and Afro-descendant Women, the organizations of disabled persons, the federations of indigenous and Afro-descendant persons, the Head of the Unit of Electoral Training and Civic Education and representing CAPEL, Ricardo Valverde, who conducted the meetings.
