IIHR/CREEDH begins its educational project in schools in Costa Rica

San José, Costa Rica. The Center of Resources and Studies for Education in Human Rights (IIHR/CREEDH) began, on March 31, 2016, to implement the content of human rights, prevention of bullying in school and methodologies of education in human rights in the Omar Dengo Guerrero school of the San José Province.

In a ceremony attended by the entire student population (550 children) and the faculty, the head of CREEDH, Jorge Padilla, informed on the results of what had already been accomplished and presented a road map for the sessions that will be held in the coming weeks.

The event was part of the activities to celebrate the Month of Human Rights and the fight against discrimination and was promoted by the Ministry of Education to sensitize the primary school children on human rights and respectful coexistence.
