San José, Costa Rica. On June 22, 2018, the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights signed an agreement of collaboration with the “Benito Juárez” Autonomous University (UABJO) of Oaxaca, Mexico. The document defines the areas of collaboration between the two institutions regarding the publication of manuals on education in human rights and alternate methods for the peaceful resolution of conflicts, for which the IIHR wil provide technical assistance.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of the University, Eduardo C. Bautista Martínez, and the IIHR Executive Director, José Thompson. Yarib Hernández García, of the UABJO, was also present.
