During the last week of July, the second edition of the AUSJAL-IIHR Inter-University Human Rights Program’s diploma course on Security and Human Rights commenced on two levels with the participation of students from different countries of the region. The design of course took into account the level of knowledge on the subject and the tendencies in on-line education so as to offer an up-to-date experience for those who are interested in the promotion of human rights. The diploma course is mainly on-line with personal attendance at the inauguration and close. The platform of the virtual class room has been set up by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana .
This activity has the strategic support of AUSJAL and the IIHR. The Inter-University Human Rights Program is jointly implemented by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá, the Universidad Rafael Landívar of Guatemala, the Universidad Iberoamericana of Mexico City, the Universidad Iberoamericana of Puebla, the Universidad Católica of Uruguay, the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello of Caracas, the Instituto Filosófico Pedro Bono of Santo Domingo, the Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya of Lima, the Universidad Alberto Hurtado of Santiago, Chile and the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente of Guadalajara .
