San José, Costa Rica. On May 4, 2018, 22 officials of the Judicial Investigation Agency of Costa Rica, the country’s regional headquarters and the Headquarters of Assaults, Jails and Complex Operations, together with a delegation of the National Police of Colombia, participated in a “Workshop on Human Rights and Access to Justice,” led by Jorge Padilla, Coordinator of the Center of Resources and Studies for Education in Human Rights (IIHR/CREEDH).
The IIHR has collaborated since April of this year in training officials of the police of Colombia on the inter-American system of human rights, the right to access to justice and the international norms in the subject matter.
This is one of the five workshops that will be carried out during the year.
