As the Executive Secretariat of Inter-American Union of Electoral Bodies (UNIORE), the Association of Electoral Bodies of Central America and the Caribbean (Protocol of Tikal) and the Association of Electoral Bodies of South America (Protocol of Quito), the IIHR/CAPEL reports that the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of Mexico has made available 26 new resolutions issued by it from July to December 2015 and which are available on the UNIORE Electoral Jurisprudence Project’s website. These decisions relate to substantive aspects that have a political impact on traditions and customs, a feminine quota and parity, equal rights, oversight of political financing, proportional system, political parties, preparatory stage of the electoral process, an indigenous peoples quota, among other topics. Several of these resolutions were implemented during the elections that took place last year.

These resolutions may be found on the IIHR/CAPEL website, where the UNIORE Electoral Jurisprudence Project is constantly updated: http://www.iidh.ed.cr/capel/jurisprudenciaelectoral/
