Presentation of book on economic, social and cultural rights in inter-American jurisprudence. San José, Costa Rica, January 31, 2018

San José, Costa Rica. On January 31, 2018, the book entitled “Inclusion, ius commune and the justiciability of economic, social, cultural and environmental rights in inter-American jurisprudence. The Lagos del Campo case and the new challenges” was given a formal presentation.

The President of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, Eduardo Ferrer, one of the authors, moderated a panel that included José Thompson, IIHR Executive Director, who spoke on those rights and public international law. Others participating were Rogelio Flores Pantoja, another of the authors and Director of the Institute of Constitutional Studies of the State of Querétaro, Mexico, and Jorge Padilla, Coordinator of the Center of Resources for Education in Human Rights (IIHR/CREEDH).
