Istambul, Turkey. On December 3, 2017, José Thompson, the IIHR Executive Director and the Director of its Center for Electoral Promotion and Assistance (IIHR/CAPEL), attended an international meeting in support of the publication of an Electoral Dictionary in Arabic, inspired by the Dictionary that has been published by CAPEL since 1989 and that is now in its third edition.
The latest edition (2017) of this valuable technical and academic tool is the result of the joint effort of CAPEL and the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation of Mexico and the contributions of the highly qualified authors with knowledge and experience in the area.
