San José, Costa Rica. On June 13 and 20, 2019, the Americas Network of Legal Support for Refugees in the Americas (ANRLA), the IIHR and the BLP Foundation held Workshops on Legal Support to Microenterprises for Refugees and Asylum Seekers.

On the first of the dates, there were lectures on intellectural property, operating permissions, taxes and labor laws given by legal experts in the different areas discussed. The participants had a week to develop their questions, which were answered at the second session.

The ANRLA supports and gives voice to organizations that promote and defend the rights of migrants in the region. ANRLA was created with the support of the IIHR and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
